Nissyros is a beautiful volcanic island
full of mystery. The volcano and the serenity that one experiences in the
picturesque villages of the island, are two of its main attractions.
Nissyros is still largely untouched
by mass tourism even though many tourists from the nearby island of Kos
come in the morning to visit the volcano and leave in the afternoon.
When you come to Nissiros don't forget
to plan a visit to the volcano (it's not active but it's still “alive”).
The surrounding scenery is totally out of this world. However, remember
to make time for the beaches and the other beautiful sites on the island.
